   Player Facts:  Played on 3 Northern Ohio League Championship teams that had a combined record of 28-4. All NOL on Offense in 1992, All NOL on Offense and Defense in 1993 and was a 1st team All Ohio selection on the Offensive-Line in 1993.                 

WHERE IS HE NOW ?Sales Manager for HPA Insurance Agency and while volunteering as a Offensive Line coach for the Bellevue Redmen from 1998 thru the present.     

  

 

 

 

 

  Name: Brent Zimmerman

  Position:  Defensive-back

  Number:  11

   Years Played: 1992-1995

   Senior Season:  1995

  Graduation:  1996

  Player Facts:  Brent started at wide receiver and cornerback begining with his sophomore season while also handling the punt and kick return duties for the Redmen. All-NOL honors on both sides of ball his sophomore season. - All-NOL first team on offense and defense, ALL-District on offense and defense, and third team All-Ohio on defense as a junior. As a senior Brent matched his junior awards with All-NOL first team on offense and defense, ALL-District on offense and defense, and third team All-Ohio on defense.

WHERE IS HE NOW ? Went To Miami University of OH--- played on the football team his freshman year. Graduated from Miami in 2000 with a BS in Finance, Was a Kappa Sigma, One of 10 executive members of CAC (the largest student run organization on campus---much like student council in high school). Participated in Big Brother of America and currently Volunteers to the Boston Public School System as a math tutor. Brent currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts and has worked at MFS Investment Management since August of 2000 as a Corporate Bond Analyst, covering the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Products, and Homebuilding Sectors of the economy.

 

 

 

 

  Name: John Bollinger

  Position:  Quarterback

  Number:  10

   Years Played: 1991-1993

   Senior Season:  1993

  Graduation:  1994

  Player Facts:  John played on 3 NOL championship teams, including the undefeated 10-0 regular season 1993 team. He was honorable mention All-NOL his sophomore season while leading the Redmen to an 8-2 record and a share of the NOL title (Bellevue first under coach Ed Nasonti and first since 1982). He was also named Honorable Mention Northwest District. His junior season, he led the Redmen to a 9-1 mark while the team averaged 39.2 points a game. He was 2nd team All-NOL and Honorable Mention Northwest District. As a senior John was selected as a team Co- Captain by his teammates, was 1st team All-NOL, Honorable Mention Northwest District and was voted team MVP.

WHERE IS HE NOW ? Currently teaching 6th grade at York Elementary School in Bellevue. Assistant varsity football coach 1999-Present (JV, tight ends, and defensive backs) under Headcoach Ed Nasonti.

 

 

 

 

  Name: Courtney DeLuca

  Position:  Offensive Line & Defensive Line

  Number:  75

   Years Played: 1995-1997

  Head Coach - Ed Nasonti

   Senior Season:  1997

  Graduation:  1998

  Player Facts:  Courtney was selected as a team captain his senior year by his teammates. Was All NOL his junior year on the defensive-line, All-NOL first team offensive and defensive line as a senior and All-Ohio Honorable Mention as an Offensive Lineman his senior season. He played on two NOL Championship teams while making the playoffs both years. His senior season he was part of Bellevue's first Regional Championship team that advanced to the State Semi's. Courtney's senior season was a historic one in Bellevue Football history as it was the 100th anniversary of Redmen Football.

WHERE IS HE NOW ? Went on to play football at Baldwin-Wallace College while wrestling there as well. Courtney is currently living in Portland Oregon and is working for Maxim Healthcare Services as a Healthcare Recruiter.



 

 

 

 

  Name: Tim Rettig

  Graduation:  1992

  Player Facts:  Tim played four years at Bellevue while starting his Junior and Senior year. Tim was also on Ed Nasonti's first NOL championship team.

WHERE IS HE NOW ? Tim was a four year Football letterman at Defiance College while being a 3 year starter. Was given, 1995 Elks Student Athlete Award and was Defiance College Student Body President. Tim Earned his BS/BA in Computer Science Chemistry education and taught technology and Science Bryan City Schools from 1996-2000. In 2000 he earned his Masters in Educational Administration from BGSU when he moved into the administration by becoming the Technology Director for Bryan City Schools. Tim currently lives in Bryan Ohio with his wife Tammie and Daughter Margaret (Maggie) Eleanor Born, April 7th, 2002.



 

 

 

 

  Name: Brandon Barr

  Position:  Receiver & Defensive Back

  Number:  43

   Years Played: 1990-1991

  Player Facts:  Brandon played four years at Bellevue while starting his Junior and Senior year on the varsity team as a defensive back. Brandon was also on Ed Nasonti's first NOL championship team and was a team captain his senior season.

WHERE IS HE NOW ? Graduated with a BS/BA in Finance from The Ohio State University in Summer of 1997 (Five yr plan). Worked at Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corp from 1994-1998. Then moved back to Bellevue and worked for ISL from 1998 to 2001. In Dec, of 2001 he accepted a job with First American National Default Outsoucing (Chase Vendor) as the Quality Control Manager. He bought a home in Westerville OH with his fiance at that time. Some of Brandon's close friends whom are also Bellevue Graduates live in the Columbus area: Bill McClain, Kelly McClain, Danny Paul (1994 GAW), Andy Dennis (1991 GAW), Derek Barr (brother) and Jason Haughawaut.



 

 

 

 

  Name: Bill McClain

  Position:  Defensive-back

  Number:  22

   Years Played: 1991-1993

  Head Coach - Ed Nasonti

   Senior Season:  1993

  Graduation:  1994

  Player Facts:  Bill was named the conditioning champ his sophomore year, WNRR named him Most Improved player from his Junior to Senior year. He also earned 1st team All-NOL honors as a defensive back his Senior year despite suffering a career ending neck injury.

WHERE IS HE NOW ? Bill is currently living in New Albany just outside of Columbus with his wife Tiffany. He currently is in the Real Estate business selling newly built condominiums for the largest condo builder in Columbus, Lifestyle Communities. He is currently their top salesman. Bill also is a personal trainer at a gym in New Albany and has been training for bodybuilding competition.

Comment from Billy: "My years as a Redmen where by far the best of my life. People see my tattoo on my shoulder of #22 on a warmat with a spear through it and ask if I regret it because it was from high school. I tell them they just dont understand tradition!!"
