As a N.Y. Jets fan, I am not confident in the selection of Chad Pennington over Patrick Ramsey as the starting quarterback. No athlete in all of professional sport has ever come back 100% after having two operations (rotator cuff surgery) like the operations Pennington has undergone.
I doubt Pennington will last 16 seconds, never mind 16 games!
With Pennington soon to be on the disabled list, Patrick Ramsey will no doubt finish the season and if something happens to Ramsey early in the season, that’s it for the Jets fans. Season’s over. The head coach of the N.Y. Jets, Eric Mangini, should have picked Ramsey as the starting QB, not Pennington.
There is no doubt, the Tennessee Titans will be blitzing on September 10 as the season gets underway for the Jets. And, their target will be Pennington.
