Players of the week

Week 1

Aaron Contreras & Joe DeBlase

Congradulations Senior Captain Aaron Contreras and Junior Safety/Wideout Joe DeBlase for being selected the Week 1 East of Chicago Pizza Player of the Week.

Week 2

Jordan Adkins

With a solid week two performance, Junior Jordan Adkins is this week’s Pizza Player of the Game. Jordan had 8 receptions for 143 yards and a touchdown Friday night against the Ashland Arrows. Jordan edged out Aaron Contreras in this week’s voting by 1 vote making it the closes vote since the Player of the Week awards started last season.

Week 3

Nathaniel Wagner

Nathaniel Wagner received 38% of the votes to edge out Derek Brown for player of the week honrs. Nathaniel had 106 yards on 9 carries.

Week 5

Trevor Smith

The Redmen had a few players come up with great preformances last Friday and it showed in this weeks Player of the Week poll. Trevor Smith won the voting edging out Nathaniel Wagner by two votes and Curtis Watson by four. Congrats to Trevor and Good Luck to the Redmen team this Friday verse the Norwalk Truckers.

Curtis Watson

Congrats to Sophomore quarterback Curtis Watson for being named player of the week for his play in last Friday's game verse Norwalk. Curtis was 22 of 36 passing with 230 yards and 2 touchdowns. He received the majority vote with 52%.

Week 7

Todd Krause

Congrats to senior Co-Captain and defensive linemen Todd Krause for being selected this week's Player of the Week. Todd recorded three tacles and a sack last Friday but helped in the scoring column intercepting a pass and returning it 33-yards for the score. Again, congrats to Todd!

Week 9

Dawson Gore

Congratulations to Senior Co-Captain and Defensive-End Dawson Gore for winning this past week’s Pizza Player of the Game. Dawson recorded a season high 9 tackles with 2 quarterback sacks and has been a leader on both sides of the line this season. Dawson will receive two small one topping pizza’s from East of Chicago. Congratulations again to Dawson and Go Redmen!!!

Week 10

Dawson Gore

Congratulations to senior wide-out Derek Brown for winning this past weeks Pizza Player of the Game. Derek finished a fine season last week with 4 receptions for 22 yards, 1 kick return for 38 yards and 1 punt return for 48 yards before leaving the game with an injury. Derek finished the season leading the Redmen in receiving yards with 506 and 5 touchdowns. He'll receive two small one topping pizzas from East of Chicago. Congratulations again to Derek and Go Redmen!!!
