It marks the fifth straight year that the Redmen have scored sixty or more points on the Tigers. Derrick Berberick again led the way on the ground for the Redmen with 18 carries for 188 yards. Berberick had 316 all-purpose yards in the first half alone before setting out the entire second half. Jeff DeBlase had a strong performance completing 10 or 12 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown including a 1-yard scoring run to open the contest. The Tigers only score came in the third quarter when senior running back Matt Clum took it in from 1-yard out on a 20 play 73 yard drive. Galion was aided by two roughing the kicker penalties on the Redmen in which both kicks were no good. What might have been the second biggest play for Tigers fans came between the third and fourth quarter when a Galion fan hit a 30-yard field goal to win a flat screen TV. Galion (1-5, 0-3) hosts the Upper Sandusky Rams (2-4, 0-3) next week while Bellevue (5-1, 3-0) plays host to the Shelby Whippets (4-2, 3-0) on homecoming night in Bellevue.
